PVT opened in June of 1965

In 1965 Pinole Valley Trucking, Inc. began serving local northern California shippers.  By 1968, the fleet had enlarged to keep up with a heavy demand, predominantly from the refining and chemical companies in the area.  With a strong focus on high quality flatbed and specialized "on-time" transportation service, PVT rapidly developed a reputation of being consistently reliable.  We opened our second service center in the southern California area in 1987, and today our Ontario, Ca. terminal and corporate facility is the largest of PVT's four locations and offers 125,000 sq. ft. of warehouse storage along with a full dispatch staff.   By 1993 we expanded our operation into Olympia, Washington to better serve our Northwest customers, and by early 1995 added yet another terminal in Houston, Texas.   This expansion was eminent due to the southwest region's similar industries.  Our need to open multiple locations came as a direct result of a relentless focus on the virtues of a quality transportation and up-to-the minute communication with our customers.  The future growth of PVT  is dependant upon the loyalty of those we serve as well as our commitment towards always being there for them. . . . .
